Kathie & Frank Mayhew, renowned Rotarians, created  The Anthill Foundation to provide support for activities not available thru the Rotary Foundation.  Anthill focuses primarily on providing the tools villagers in extreme poverty need to start lifting themselves out of poverty.  Anthill addresses the most compelling problems of health, hunger, and education. Currently we focus on projects in Uganda. We are open to working in other countries also.

Our first project provided a new Maternity Hospital to the Entebbe Hospital to replace delivery rooms and wards from the 1950s. Recently we have provided new classroom blocks, desks, textbooks, and rainwater harvesting to primary schools in remote villages.

Annually we provide medical camps to villagers who have little or no access to professional healthcare services.

We constantly seek and evaluate projects based upon the needs expressed by those people we serve, including scholarships, micro credit loans, and agricultural improvements.

Our Mission is to provide people living in extreme poverty in developing countries the tools to live self-sustainable, healthy lives.
